Trieste is the first Mediterranean’s seaport for coffee traffic, and the second in Europe. The completeness of Trieste’s coffee industry (“from the coffee bean to the cup”) is known by the only district in the world regarding the coffee market.

Importers, freight forwarders, roasters, bars, but also scientific researches and culture, describe a city strongly imprinted to the coffee business development, which has always been luxuriant, and has accompanied the events of the city through the centuries.

The Trieste Coffee Association supports its members since 1891 providing advice, support and training for the several areas of expertises.

Every two years TriestEspresso Expo  recalls exhibitors and visitors from all over the world.
